Ch, ch, ch, changes.....

Sooooo many changes in my life!!! I know it seems like a lifetime since I've blogged...that's actually how I feel!!! But be on the lookout for an update REAL soon! I just wanted to let all of you know that I'm still alive!!!

...and life goes on

It has to, right? I don't really have a choice. What doesn't kill me will only make me stronger, right? Next to Laura, this has got to be the second hardest thing that I've ever done in my life. I know that I am doing it for the right reasons and I am fine with the decision that I made. Change is good, this I know. I can't wait for things to settle down and for Mark to get over his bitterness. It only makes things harder. Because of everything going on in my life, I probably won't be blogging all that much...I will when I get a chance.

I couldn't resist...

Apparently Prince is filming a new video in Prague for a song off of his new CD. The song is "Somewhere Here on Earth"...my favorite from his new cd. I just had to post this pic...I think it's a new favorite...he's just beautiful, I love looking at him.

Room remodel!!!

As most of you know, my house is falling apart...well - not LITERALLY...but you know what I mean! lol. So we have been working on it little by little. We FINALLY did our bedroom this past weekend. We painted (thanks to EVERYONE who gave input on the paint!!), installed baseboards & trim, new fan, redid the closet organizer, new closet doors...I think that's about it. There are a few little things that still need to get done (new flat screen for the wall between the door & closet, new bedding, pictures on the wall...that kind of stuff), but this will do for now!!! I'm gonna be a Great Aunt!!!

Wow! I still cannot believe that Nichole is gonna be a mom...I mean, I'm not surprised AT ALL cuz she's always had that "motherly instinct" ever since she was like 7 or 8! She's about 4 months pregnant and is BARELY starting to show...she asked me to take pics of her every month and then make her a scrapbook...you know I am MORE than happy to!!! Here are some pics that we shot in my empty room (more on that later)...it was funny cuz Nichole didn't want anyone in the room when we took the pics so Kim, Krista, and Wendy were in my backyard peeking thru the window...I think they indulged a little too much that night! lol. Isn't Nichole looking sooooo cute???

OUR HOUSE GOT TP'd!!!

Some people call it "rolling"...we call it tp'ing...all in all - it's just something fun (usually) that the kids do...

So one Friday morning when I was getting ready for work, I looked out the kitchen window and noticed something white on the lawn...since Mark's birthday was a few days before, I figured it was just a left over streamer...and me being me, I was running late, so I thought nothing of it...and continued to make my lunch. After my lunch was made, I kissed the hubby goodbye and left...this is what I saw when I opened the door:

Keep in mind, it was dark when I left, so of course, me being the scrapbooking mamma that I am, had Markie take these pics before they cleaned up the mess!!! lol. We know who did it...it was some of the boys girl friends - of course! They posted pics of them doing it on My Space...DUH!!! lol. I can't wait to get'em back...you know what they say about payback!!! I think they started a war. lol.

LOTS to blog about!!!!!

It's been quite a while since I blogged!!!! Wouldn't you say??? I'll be posting individual messages about everything I want to blog about. lol. I'm a dork, I know!!! Here's the stuff I'll be blogging about:

• our house getting TP'd...yeah - that's what happens when you have teenagers!!!
• Nichole's expecting!!! She looks sooo cute!!!! I am gonna be a great aunt!!!
• Our room remodel...lot's of work, but SOOO worth it!
• The 1st day of school...yep - that was today!!! Markie & Angel are pros at it now...but Diego was sooooo excited to start 2nd grade. lol.
